Lin Sutphin

Lin was born and raised in Loudoun County, Virginia. He comes from generations of Sutphin’s who call Loudoun County home. Lin went to college for drafting and engineering. After his initial experience as a building engineer, collaborating with developers and at a construction company, he formed his own general contracting firm in 1994. Lin announced 2023 that he will slowly be easing out of the company and handing over daily operations to Trae, Mitch, and Tammy. He will remain active in the company consulting and doing budgets for clients. Outside of work, Lin enjoys spending time with his family and dog Sweetie at the river or in the mountains.

Trae Sutphin

Trae started with Lincoln Construction over 17 years ago in 2006 as a laborer and has worked in every position in the field moving into the office the end of 2016 to learn the project management side of the company. Trae estimates and runs projects in addition, he is learning all aspects of the business as his father eases out of daily operations into retirement. Outside of work Trae enjoys spending time with his friends, racing, working on cars and fishing.

Mitch Miller

Mitch had his own HVAC company before joining Lincoln Construction in February 2006. He holds licenses in MD and VA and has trained HVAC techs over the years and has run summer apprenticeship programs. He not only bids, orders, and manages all projects for the HVAC division but recently has taken on workforce scheduling and field supervisory responsibilities. Mitch has become a huge asset and will continue to step up as Lin retires. Outside of work Mitch enjoys working on his race cars and raising cattle and he is always there to help anyone in need.

Tammy Foley

Tammy has been in construction since 1990. She worked with Lin at GCC prior to Lin starting his own construction company. She was Lin’s secretary/receptionist/bookkeeper for about a year at Lincoln Construction and has been a project manager ever since. In addition, she oversees daily operations, safety, insurance, payroll, reviews financials and provides overall support for the office and field. She is currently finishing classes for a business degree in accounting. Outside of work, Tammy enjoys working on projects at home and spending time with her family.

Trae Sutphin

Trae started with Lincoln Construction over 12 years ago in 2006 as a laborer and has worked in every
position in the field moving up the ladder. He started in the office the end of 2016 to learn the project
management side of the company. He is the oldest son of Lin’s and just bought the family home in
Leesburg and is remodeling it on his own. Outside of work Trae enjoys spending time with his friends,
racing, working on cars and fishing.

Adam Sikes

Adam joined Lincoln Construction September 2022. He has been a welcome addition to the team. He jumped right in learning the computer programs Lincoln Construction uses and helped implement a new system for use in the field to track project progress. He assists with all projects and is responsible for getting all subcontractor pricing for bids and budgets. He keeps everyone organized and is a great asset to the office team and fantastic support for field operations. Outside of work, Adam enjoys playing guitar and piano, hiking/camping and riding his bike on the W&OD trail. He builds guitars in his spare time, www.sikesinstruments.com highlights his talents.

Patti Green

Patti joined Lincoln Construction in 2005 as receptionist, and quickly moving to bookkeeper and then an assistant project manager. She became the full charge bookkeeper for Lincoln Construction June 2016. Patti works with our CPA to keep us current with our taxes and financials. She is always helpful and assists with other office manager tasks. Outside of work, Patti has a love for animals as they do for her. She enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family.
